Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September 1983) is an American actress who is best known for her roles as Shannon Rutherford on the ABC TV series Lost as well as Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace was born in Worthington in Ohio. She dropped out of high school after her parents split up to move in Los Angeles to live with her mother. Her first role came to her in the film, Rachel's Room's main character in 2001 despite struggling in the financial department. In the following year, she was awarded a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002 for her performance as 15-year-old murder victim Martha Moxley in the television film Murder set in Greenwich. The actress has also appeared as Kim Mills in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club both in 2007 and Taken opposite Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. She played the same role as Kim Mills in Taken 2 and Taken 3 (both 2012). Grace reprised the role as Shannon in two episodes of Lost as well as the show's finale. She appeared in 2013's sixth season of Californication. She portrays Faith as the muse and fan of the actors. Hank Moody as played by David Duchovny falls in love with her. Nominated in the Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress for her performance on the film Crazy Heart, (2009). The following year, she starred in comedies and dramas: Nanny McPhee as well as the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and Will Not Back Down (2012).
